In 2014, I attempted to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon, and Washington. By the time I reached Warner Springs, around mile 110 (out of the total ~2660), I realized that something was seriously wrong with my foot and was forced to abandon my trip to seek medical attention. I have since recovered and am returning in May 2019 to attempt to finish the trail.

I’m using this blog to document my 2019 PCT hike. I have not yet decided how frequently I will post, but I do hope to at least inform friends and family of my well-being or troubles when I stop in town to resupply. After my return, I intend to reconstruct a more detailed picture of my hike from the written journal I will keep on the trail.
